Pianosa features a shaped curved plinth of Italian hardwood Walnut that reminds of the Tuscan landscape and its warm sea are manufactured by our local craftsmen who hand-made every single plinth from precious woods, a material chosen for its exceptional strength and high density. The elegant curves of Pianosa enhance the turntable ultra rigid compact plinth, combining and refining the technical design with elegant, smooth lines. The wooden plinth is also coupled with a 20mm thick MDF plinth and reinforced with a 3mm stainless steel plate.

Designed and built in Florence, Italy, the Pianosa reflects Gold Note’s commitment to craftsmanship and mechanical excellence. Its distinctive plinth construction combines high-density materials including acrylic and precision-machined aluminium, carefully layered to control resonance and vibration. At the heart of the Pianosa is Gold Note’s precision bearing and platter system, designed to ensure smooth rotation and extremely low mechanical noise. The high-mass platter works in combination with an advanced belt-drive system and electronic motor control to maintain accurate, stable speed at 33⅓ and 45 RPM. This carefully engineered drive system minimizes vibration while preserving timing and pitch stability, allowing music to unfold with natural flow, clarity, and authority
