AC/DC'S PWR UP "Power Up" is AC/DC’s seventeenth studio album, released on November 13, 2020, as a tribute to late co-founder Malcolm Young. "Power Up" marks the return of vocalist Brian Johnson, drummer Phil Rudd, and bassist Cliff Williams to AC/DC, following a period of departures and health issues within the band. It is the first album released after the death of rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young in 2017, who received posthumous songwriting credit for all tracks, as the songs were co-written with his brother Angus prior to his passing. The album serves as a tribute to Malcolm, similar to how "Back in Black" honored Bon Scott.
